David Cooke Plaster installed a PebbleFina surface to my pool approximately two years ago. When I was discussing what material to use for my resurfacing project, David took a small piece of PebbleFina and threw it on the concrete floor - it did not break. He explained that the material was made of an extremely hard quartz base and assured me it was durable. This past fall the Northeast had an unprecedented October snow storm that brought down tress all over New England. Unfortunately among the fallen trees was a 48' diameter oak that landed up in my pool after crushing a wooden deck and creating impact craters in the pavers surrounding my pool. Once the tree was removed I drained the water - expecting to find cracks or gouges in the pool surface. The pool cover was shredded, but to my surprise not a scratch was found. True to David's claim, PebbleFina proved to be an extremely hard and durable product. The oak tree deposited large quantities of leaves that stained the pool surface. There was also some discoloration from the product's curing process. Within a few days of my call to David Cooke Plaster Company, LLC. a crew arrived at my house and they acid washed and cleaned the pool surface AT NO COST. The results were fantastic - my pool looks better than it did when the PebbleFina was first installed. If there is any question about using David Cooke Plaster, rest assured they use quality products and they stand behind their commitment to provide superior service.
